I am the principal of Brännkyrka gymnasium and I am very glad about the cooperation between Brännkyrka and Calcutta International School . I hope it will be an interesting experience for everyone to meet and learn in the cyber world.Brännkyrka gymnasium is a creative senior high school and projects of various kinds are always ongoing here. We have 650 students. About half of them study to qualify for University studies. Half of our students are teenage immigrants mainly studying Swedish language before they start high school cirriculum.
I will follow this strong project closely and I expect to see many examples of good work. I wish everyone the very best.

Brännkyrka Senior High School is located about 10 minutes by subway from the inner city of Stockholm. Between a busy freeway on one side and the cosy suburb of Midsommarkransen on the other, the 60-year-old school overlooks both from an elevated position. The 650 Students come here everyday and are enrolled in the Social Science program, Natural Science program or a language introductory program.
The students behind this blog are in the third year in the Social Science program and they have been part of the Next India-project since September 2011.
Brännkyrka gymnasium ligger cirka 10 minuter från Stockholms City med tunnelbanan. Högt belägen mellan den trafikerade E4:an på ena sidan och den pittoreska stadsdelen Midsommarkransen på andra reser sig den i år 60-åriga skolan. Här möts ungefär 600 elever dagligen. Antingen läser de Samhällsvetenskapliga programmet, Naturvetenskapliga programmet eller Språkintroduktion.
Eleverna som ligger bakom arbetet med den här bloggen går årskurs två på Samhällsvetenskapliga programmet. De har sedan mitten av läsåret 2010/2011 arbetat med Next India-projektet
